I write for a living. But I offer my clients more than words.
Strategic thinking. Creative concepts. Content structuring. The ability to spot opportunities that will make an impact. An understanding of many different industries and business issues. The ability to handle everything from a humorous radio spot to a compelling case study, intriguing whitepaper or even a business book...
All of these capabilities come with my standard rate: $80/hr.
The official back story (supported by verifiable, non-alternative facts)
Stanford Creative Writing degree. 10 years as a journalist. More than a quarter century of marketing and corporate communications work for large and small clients, including Fortune 500 companies like Amgen, Bank of America, Baxter Healthcare, Gilead Sciences, and Xerox. Plus a small, gratifying collection of awards earned along the way.
I've also co-authored one business book--The Perpetual Innovation Machine--with Vele Galovski, a former client from Xerox and Bank of America who's a world-class change agent. And I edited the book Outside Insights for Patrick Burke, a respected local businessman who wrote a popular column of the same name for Rochester's Democrat and Chronicle for several years.
My name is Hank Shaw. And I approved this message.
